S8 – Know your Customer’s Numbers

Programme Overview:

This session is focused on how to increase your customer’s need to buy and reduce your need to sell, by understanding the decision structure and presenting your numbers in an impactful way. This is practical hands-on and challenging. As with all of our modules, it will be interactive, engaging, challenging and the team will ask tough questions of you.

What will I learn?

The key areas we will cover are:

1. How to find the critical pieces of information for your customer (not just syndicated data).

2. Understand the scale and type of customer decisions, and how to manage them.

3. How customer’s segment their suppliers (and what this means for you).

4. Using Steal & Cannibalisation for impact.

Who should attend?

This is a development programme designed for those with at least 2 to 5 years of sales experience (or have attended the Selling S1 Module). This will provide attendees with the knowledge and tools to be ‘category ready’ for your key customers. This is also a perfect programme for those in category marketing, customer marketing or for marketeers keen to understand how to present their strategies with numbers and rationales that customers will understand and wish to execute.
Completion of Module S1 – Core Selling Skills is recommended before attending.
